· 1 tablespoon olive oil
· 1 yellow onion, diced
· 3 cloves garlic, minced
· 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
· 2 tablespoons chili powder
· 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
· 1 teaspoon cumin
· 1/2 teaspoon salt
· 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
· 1 (14.5-ounce) can of chopped tomatoes, undrained
· 1/2 cup tomato sauce
· 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1) Heat the olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and jalapeño pepper and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
